We are located on Blackpool's North Shore, just a short stroll away from Funny Girls, the beach, the historic North Pier and Blackpool town centre. The Winter Gardens, Blackpool Tower, and the Grand Theatre are about 10 minutes walk away. Conveniently, Blackpool North train station is only a 5-minute walk away. COACH Arriving and departing at Blackpool Central Coach Station located at the rear of Coral Island. TRAM Trams runs from Fleetwood Ferry to Starr Gate . Closest stop to us is Pleasant Street. Contactless payment accepted. Parking We have free limited on-site parking spaces (first come basis). There is also free unrestricted street parking available right outside, although it is limited and cannot be reserved. No refund of payment if cancellation is less than 14 days of arrival. Hotel Neon will at the discretion of the manager try to rebook for another date subject to availability and pricing. Guests leaving earlier than stated in their original booking will have to pay the full amount of the original booking unless otherwise agreed with the management team. Non-Arrival of Guests: Should you have booked a room(s), and fail to arrive at the hotel, we will not refund your monies paid. Guests are advised to take out UK holiday insurance so that you are covered for cancellation, curtailment, personal baggage, valuables and cash.

The person (now referred to as the Lead Customer) whose signature appears on the booking form or who has made the booking via the telephone or internet, is the person who has entered into the Contract with Hotel Neon, ? ?All accommodation is offered subject to availability at the time of receipt of deposit, and at the tariff applicable according to the season. The management reserve the right to refuse accommodation to anyone without providing a reason. Payment Full payment for your entire stay is required in advance. You must pay any other money owing before departure. If you fail to do so, we will take any action necessary to recover money due including any legal costs. We reserve the right to use your credit or debit card without further request if necessary to recover costs. Your payment covers you and your companion(s), non-guests are not allowed in rooms which you are responsible for, if a non-guest stays overnight you will be charged a full night’s stay. Arrival & Departure Rooms are available from 2.00pm until 11pm although earlier arrival may be possible with our agreement. You are asked to inform the Hotel of your arrival time if possible. Occupancy All rooms maximum occupancy is 2 Adults Housekeeping We reserve the right to enter rooms to carry out housekeeping work, to check their general condition and to ensure the safety and security rules are being complied with. Parking Should you make use of parking provided by Hotel Neon you agree that Hotel Neon does not accept any responsibility thereof and you do so at your own risk. Food We operate Room only and do not provide any meals. Smoking/Vaping Hotel Neon is non-smoking throughout (this includes vapes/e-cigarettes); if a person or persons are found to be smoking, or if any evidence is found of a person or persons having smoked within the building you will be asked to leave with immediate effect, no refund will be issued for remaining nights and a minimum £200 charge for deep cleaning and damages, at the discretion of the proprietors, will be recovered from the Lead Customer, who agrees that such payments may be taken direct from the credit / debit card supplied to pay the deposit, without any further permission being required. CCTV: This operates throughout the common parts of the hotel for the security and protection of our guests, staff and premises. Footage is held securely for 30 days and then deleted Groups: No hen/stag parties are permitted. This applies to the entire venue. Our policy is to refuse hen/stag parties regardless of sexual orientation which includes booking hotel accommodation. If groups ignore this and book individually and are then found to be part of a hen/stag party, we will cancel the booking [even on arrival] with no refund being given. Please note that other groups of five or more may be able to stay at management discretion so please contact the hotel to agree terms. Pets No pets are allowed Children (under 18) Children are only permitted if prior consent is given by the hotel. Hotel Neon, Signs and Promotional Display: The names, logos and artwork of the hotel are exclusive property of the hotel and company respectively and any unauthorised use of these is prohibited. Guests Property The proprietors cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to guest’s property unless handed in for safekeeping and signed for by the proprietors. Any resident property found will be kept safe for 7 days, any returns postage costs will be charged, any unclaimed property after 7 days will be disposed of. Hotel Property A charge will be made for any loss or damage to hotel property accidental or otherwise and will be deducted from the guest’s debit or credit card or a solicitor will be instructed to recover these costs, from group bookings, the person whose name is on the booking form is liable for the damage. If you notice any damage or missing items in your room you must inform us immediately. (minimum charge £50.00) Please ask for a list of items and their cost. Lost keys are charged at £25.00 per set, which the Lead Customer agrees that such payments may be taken direct from the credit / debit card supplied to pay the deposit, without any further permission being required. PLEASE NOTE: In the unfortunate event that you soil the bed a charge of £50.00 will be automatically debited to your credit/debit card to cover the cost of replacement pillows, quilt and the separate washing of the bedding. Excess cleaning of your room will invoke a minimum charge of £50.00 The proprietors reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any person who is a part to that contract, causes any detriment to the wellbeing or comfort of other guests, or who causes damage to the hotel and its fixture and fittings. Any damage or costs that occur because of such behaviour will be recovered from the Lead Customer, who agrees that such payments may be taken direct from the credit / debit card if supplied to pay the deposit, without any further permission being required; this includes any legal expense incurred by the proprietors as a result of a guest’s actions. Liability: Other than for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation, our total liability to you is limited to the price of the booking and in no circumstances will we be responsible to you for any indirect or special damages. We will not be liable for failure to provide the services including the guest WIFI to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond our reasonable control. The hotel shall not be held responsible for any disturbance, inconvenience or loss caused by or in connection with any activity outside and inside the hotel premises. You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to us, including any damage to our property by your act, omission, default or neglect and you agree to indemnify us and you agree to pay us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss. The burning of candles, incense or similar items are strictly forbidden in any part of the building. Further, all reservations are non-transferable and we reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears a customer is engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under any other circumstances where it appears that the reservation contains or resulted from a mistake or error by the hotel or its agents. Hotel Neon Ltd T/A Hotel Neon Hotel Neon is situated just to the north of Blackpool town centre on the corner of Lord Street and Yates Street. 4 minutes’ walk to the Promenade and 6 minutes to the North Pier and a 10-minute walk from the town centre. Hotel Neon is over one hundred and twenty years old and whilst we aim to meet the needs of all of our guests there are some period features which might make access difficult for people with limited mobility. We have rooms on different levels; there are steps into the building, between floor levels and on each floor. We have no ground floor bedrooms therefore Hotel Neon is not suitable for wheelchair users. Pre Arrival Hotel Neon is situated on a corner with the main door on Yates street so is easily accessible by car/taxi. We are a gay run adult only hotel for gay people and their friends. Including the whole LGBTQ+ community as well as straight people. The nearest shop – a convenience store, is a two-minute walk away situated on the corner of Cocker Street and Dickson Road. Blackpool town centre is about a 10-minute walk away from Hotel Neon. There is also a Post Office located at the side of Bickerstaff House near Sainsburys and the train station – an 8-minute walk away. Nearest bus stops are situated on the Promenade – a four-minute walk away and on Dixon Road – a two-minute walk away. There are also a tram stops on the Promenade with trams taking you as far as Fleetwood to the north and Stargate to the south passing all of Blackpool’s main seafront attractions. The nearest stop is a three-minute walk away from Hotel Neon. Buses and Trams run daily until late. The nearest Railway Station is Blackpool North approx. five-minute walk away. Taxis are available at the station. The nearest coach station is on Bonny Street –a fifteen-minute walk away. There are several local taxi companies. We have no family rooms and are unable to accommodate children. We are unable to cater for pets. Our website provides pictures of our accommodation and further information on the services we provide. Arrival: Please advise us of your anticipated arrival time so that we can be sure we are here to welcome you. Please ring the bell on arrival. Guest Accommodation – Public Areas Hotel Neon has central heating throughout, with thermostatic valves fitted to radiators allowing control of room temperatures. No outside heaters are allowed in the bedrooms. Some rooms have cooling fans. Hotel Neon is strictly non-smoking throughout. The smoking area is to the front of the building, a small wall mounted ashtray is provided Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Main Entrance Small step from the pavement (6cm) 3 steps to the main hallway area (12,14, 7cm) (assistance is available in request) There is a toilet (non-accessible) through a door in the hallway. There is no seating in the entrance hall. A door from the hallway leads into the bar and dining room and another door into the lounge Guests are required to complete our registration form on arrival and are then shown to their room and our facilities explained. Dining Room and Bar & Lounge Area Guests are welcome to use the lounge/bar area during opening times. (opening times vary depending on season) The bar/dining room has dining chairs and bench seating and tables.. Local information is available in the hallway. We have a licensed well stocked bar, teas and coffees are also available. (Opening soon) We do not serve food. The dining room seats 18 people and the lounge seats 16. Iron and ironing board is available on request for use in rooms. The Bar/dining room and lounge have karndean/wooden flooring. We have no ground floor bedrooms. If guests need any assistance the quickest way to contact is via WhatsApp 0n +441253441940 or to ring the bell marked private in the hallway. The stairs and landings are all fitted with a short pile carpet. All stairs have a handrail on the right hand side and measure 18cm each) There are 7 stairs leading to a half landing then:- To the Left a further 7 stairs leading to the first floor bedrooms (Rooms 1,2,3) To the Right a further 7 steps leading to another half landing and Room 4. There are 10 steps leading to the next landing then: - To the Left 3 steps leading to the second floor bedrooms (Rooms 5,6,7) To the Right 3 steps leading to a small landing and Room 8 All our bedrooms have fully fitted short pile carpets. All bedrooms are fully en-suite comprising of: Shower, W.C. and a Wash Basin. Freshly laundered towels, shower mat and complimentary toiletries are provided. A welcome tray with tea/coffee and hot chocolate is provided. Complimentary filtered tap water, biscuits are provided on arrival. Fitted hairdryer and shaver socket All beds are made up with duvets. All duvets and pillows are synthetic. All rooms have ample sockets for phone chargers, laptops All rooms except Room 7 and 2 have large wardrobes, Rooms 7 and 2 have open wardrobes. All rooms have clothes hanging areas and hooks. All rooms have remote control flat screen Freeview T.V. All rooms have storage space for luggage, clothes and toiletries etc. Our rooms consist of, 5 double, 1 small double and 1 twin Not all beds are accessible from both sides. Rooms 1 and 5 are only accessible one side, Rooms 2 and 6 have limited access to both sides. Fire instruction notices and other useful information are located the back of all bedroom doors. Bedrooms Bedroom 1: Standard double room with two small chairs 8.3 sq./m Bedroom 2: Small double room, 4ft bed 8 sq. Bedroom 3: Premier double room with two small chairs and coffee table 14 sq./m Bedroom 4: Premier double room with two small chairs and coffee table 18.5 sq./m Bedroom 5: Standard double room 8.7 sq./m Bedroom 6: Standard double room 8.7 sq./m Bedroom 7: Standard twin room with two single beds 11.2 sq./m Bedroom 8: Premier double room with two small chairs and coffee table 19 sq./m. Additional Information There are fire extinguishers in the main hallway and on each half landing. There are fire call points located in the main hallway on each landing. Should the fire alarm sound (a continuous siren) guests will be asked to vacate the building via the main entrance. We ask guests to advise of any hearing impediment so we can make them aware of any emergency evacuation situation. We are happy to keep medication refrigerated. A selection of local information is located in our main hallway. We do not offer a laundry service. However, there is a small launderette on Dixon road which is approximately 5 minutes’ walk from Hotel Neon.
